Display Settings
Use the "Show Bookmarks" option to control whether Bookmark icons are displayed in the PDF View. If the "Show Links" option is turned on, Aji Annotate will display translucent blue boxes over links in your documents; this can help with visibility of links on some documents.
The "Show Page Numbers", "Show Document Title", and "Show Page Locator" options control whether the overlay page number, title, and page locator displays are shown when reading PDF documents.

More Display Settings
Use the "Full Screen" setting to control whether the device status bar is visible when using Aji Annotate. Note that you have to restart Aji Annotate in order for a change in this setting to take effect.
Use the "High Quality Rendering" setting to control whether documents are displayed at a higher resolution, which allows a higher level of zoom. Note, however, that this will cause a slight slowdown in drawing time and will increase the memory burden on your device, so turn off this option if you have having problems with responsiveness when reading a particular document.
Also, for the best drawing quality for documents with large page sizes or high levels of detail, turn on the Single-Page Mode setting -- this allows for an even higher level of drawing quality since it displays only one page at a time.

Interface Settings
The "Single-Page Mode" setting is used to control Single-Page Mode, which provides an alternate method of viewing your documents and a higher level of drawing quality.
Use the "Auto-Popup Annotations" setting to control whether annotation editing popup windows (that have text content) are automatically displayed when the annotation is on-screen. See the Annotation Popups section for more details.
The "Tap to Hide Interface" and "Auto-Hide Interface" options control the behavior described in the Interface Hiding section.

More Interface Settings
Use the "Edge Navigation" setting to enable or disable Edge Navigation.
When enabled, the "Double-Tap for Notes" option allows you to double-tap on the document viewing screen to add a Note annotation.
Both the "Pen Color" and "Pen Transparency" settings are used to control the ink characteristics for Finger and Straight-Line Annotations.
| Notification Settings | (Back to Top) |

Notification Settings
Use the "Show Informational Alerts" option to control whether normal (information-level) status Notifications are displayed. Note that even if this option is turned off, Warning and Error alerts will still be displayed.
The "Show Tips" option can be used to disable any further "Tip" dialogs from being displayed. Also, if you turn this option off and then back on again, all tips will be reset; use this if you would like to have old tips displayed again.
The "Notify Out-of-Date PDF" option can be used to disable the warning that appears when viewing PDF files that are out-of-date. We do not recommend changing this setting unless you find that you are in a situation where you are unable to connected to a new version of Aji Reader Service for the new metadata and you do not wish to have reminders of this issue.

Miscellaneous Settings
The "Save Document Passwords" option is off by default for security reasons. If you turn this option on, then Aji Annotate will offer to save passwords that you enter for viewing password-protected PDF documents. Note that even if this option is on, you still have the choice of whether or not to save a password for a given PDF document.
When the "Disable Sleep when Reading" option is turned on, Aji Annotate disables the device's idle timer whenever you are viewing a PDF document. In this case, your device's screen will not dim, and the device will not go to sleep, even after a long period of inactivity. This can be useful when reading; however, note that this can also cause your battery to drain more quickly, especially if your device is left unattended while the PDF display is visible.
By default, when sending a PDF file via in-app mail, a basic default subject line and message are added to the e-mail text. Turn off the "Auto-Fill E-mail" setting to disable this behavior.
