Section 1.5: Using the Gesture Practice Profile
TT Pro includes a "Gesture Practice" configuration Profile which can help you to quickly acclimate to TouchTerm's Gesture Engine. In this Profile, all Gestures immediately provide graphical feedback on which Gesture was recognized, but don't perform any Actions.
To activate the Gesture Practice Profile, go to the Settings, and select the "Profiles" entry. From this menu, select "Gesture Practice", so that it becomes checked and therefore is the Active Profile. Now you can return to your active connection, or, if you haven't already, initiate a new connection.

Selecting the "Gesture Practice" Profile
By default, the Gesture Practice Profile uses a light gray Font Color, as a reminder that you are not using the default settings.
Once you have an active SSH session, you can try out the various Gestures supported by TouchTerm. The Single Tap gesture can be used, as usual, to raise and lower the Keyboard; however, all other Gestures will not have any effect, except to display graphical feedback about which Gesture was recognized.

Gesture Feedback for a Double-Tap on the Right Edge
See the Gestures section of the guide for a detailed list of all of the gestures recognized by TouchTerm Pro.
