Section 3.7: Global Options


The Global Options are similar to the standard Options, except that they are not associated with any configuration Profile: Global Options are always in effect, regardless of which Profile is active.

The Global Options can be accessed from the main Settings screen.

The Global Options are organized into groups as follows:

  • General: Includes Help, Full-Screen Mode, and Carrier Activation options.
  • Security: Options for controlling saved passwords and public host key notification.
  • Gesture: Options that control the behavior of the Gesture Engine.
